Online Resources

Online Resources and Links

Below is a list of Quick Links for Online Resources. Soon, we will have a more robust list and descriptions – stay tuned!

Many of these online resources are brought to you by NC Live, North Carolina’s statewide library cooperative, supporting 200+ public and academic libraries across North Carolina. Since its founding in 1997, NC LIVE has saved the state millions through innovation and collaborative efforts. Content includes a variety of databases containing full-text magazine, newspaper, and journal articles, encyclopedias, historical materials, e-books and e-audio books, maps, images, videos, and much more! More can be found at NCLIVE.org with your Library Card and password, or from inside our libraries (on public computers or any device connected to our wifi) with no login. Need an introduction to a specific NC Live resource? Or maybe just a few pointers on where to find things? NC LIVE has created a playlist of “Crash Course” videos to help library staff and patrons learn how to use some of the most requested resources it offers. Check them out on YouTube.
